Approximately +5 mm extra height for Firm and +3 mm for Flex, compared to the standard suspension height.
Firm / Flex
The Firm tube has reinforcement at the bottom. This makes the skate stiffer, so it can hold the bend with more force during turns. The hard tube is better suited for heavier skaters.
The Flex tube is thinner at the bottom of the tube. Less material near the blade allows the blade to flex slightly during turns, thus providing a more dynamic behavior. The flexible tubes are better suited for lighter skaters.
Standard or FT (Flattop)
Standard frames have a larger cross-section, which allows them to hold the bend better. Flattop tubes are more flexible and bend better when subjected to load, resulting in a flatter bend under load.
